What this covers

This page covers Capture, the Windows app, and the account pages at capture.lerobotbooth.com. One LeRobotBooth account signs you in to Capture and to Engage, our live event games service, but the two products keep separate records and Engage has its own policy.

Your account

If you buy a Pro licence we store your email address and your licence and billing details. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or hold your full card number, only enough to show you which card is on file.

Licence telemetry

When you activate a Pro licence, and while it stays active, Capture checks in with us so we can keep a licence to one computer and know which version you are running. That check-in carries only what is needed to do that: which machine the licence is on, the operating system and app version, and when it was activated and last used.

It is tied to a machine, not to a person. It contains no photos, no guest names or email addresses, no event or client names, and nothing typed into an event. The app does not send that information and we do not store or work it out from anything else. Photos taken with Capture stay on your computer and are never uploaded to us.

We keep this for as long as the licence exists, plus twelve months, so we can answer billing and support questions.

Free use

The free, watermarked version needs no account and no licence key, and it does not check in with us at all.

Who else sees it

Stripe processes payments and holds your billing details under its own policy. Our site and accounts run on Google Cloud. Nobody else receives your data, and we do not sell it or use it for advertising.

Your choices

You can cancel at any time from your account page. Write to us and we will delete your account, your licence records, and the telemetry attached to them, except anything we are required to keep for tax and accounting.
